Made famous in the early 1960's as the backdrop for scenes of Alfred Hitchcock's film classic, “The Birds”, The Tides remains a popular destination for locals and travelers from around the world. In addition to the very popular restaurant and bar The Tides Wharf also features a fish market, gift shop, snack bar, wholesale seafood business and more.
No seats available….without a view of the bay! Located within walking distance--directly across the street-- from The Inn, The Tides Wharf offers fresh caught seafood specialties as well as pasta, salads, prime rib, steaks and vegetarian selections. A special fish-shaped childs menu is available and house-made desserts and pastries are baked fresh daily.
The Tides is well-known for its casual atmosphere and friendly staff. The unbelievably beautiful setting and views cannot be matched anywhere on the Sonoma Coast. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and full bar service available 365 days a year. The beautiful bar is lined with picture windows that overlook the bay. Also enjoy the covered outdoor cocktail area.
