Fabulous Time
Wonderful to have free parking, internet and full breakfast included with the room charge. The staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive. The restaurant at Inn at the Tides Wharfside (they also have a Bayview Restaurant attached to the hotel registration area on the land side of Highway One) had some of the best Bay views I have ever seen with half wall glass windows that enable you to see seals, birds, and magnificent water/sky views. The best part of a Bodega Bay stay is the magnificent beach access. Either Doran State Park or Salmon Creek State Park provide some of the finest beach walks in Northern California.

Staff was quick to check us in and helpful, providing replacement bandages and antibiotic cream for a few biker bruises. The walk up the hill to our room/lodge was short and well worth it. The view through lush green trees of the pool and Bodega Bay was extraordinary. The room was large, guessing about 350 square feet. It was updated, quaint and comfortable with a lovely fireplace. We wished we were staying longer. VBT bike tours arranged a private dinner at the Inn that challenged the best fine dining in the west. The next morning we walked across the street to The Tides for a very tasty hearty breakfast.

So this is our 1st time at this property. But it will not be our last!!! I LOVED IT. The rooms are great and they have an exercise room off the pool area, and the pool which is EXACTLY as beautiful as the pictures - is heated and there is an outdoor hot tub and a dry sauna. So even when it's not super hot (which is the case in Bodega Bay quite a bit I assume) you can go from the Hot tub, to the dry sauna and then into the pool! You get free breakfast at the their restaurant on the water for every night that you stay. And it's REAL breakfast! You can also get a massage in your room if you set that up when making the reservation.
