The Tides Wharf & Restaurant

The unbelievably beautiful setting and views cannot be matched anywhere on the Sonoma Coast. Made famous in the early 1960’s as the backdrop of Alfred Hitchcock’s film classic, “The Birds”, The Tides remains a popular destination for locals and travelers from around the world.

Bay View Restaurant & Lounge

A casual yet elegant atmosphere with high wood-beamed ceilings, redwood accents, large bay windows, outdoor terrace and crackling fireplaces create a cozy and relaxing atmosphere indicative of the Sonoma Coast.

Winemaker Dinner Series

The intimate and relaxed setting of The Bay View Restaurant & Lounge is the ideal backdrop for our monthly “Dinner with the Winemaker” series. It’s the perfect opportunity to talk one-on-one with winemakers and winery executives all while enjoying a variety of award-winning wines and locally grown foods.

Fabulous Time

Wonderful to have free parking, internet and full breakfast included with the room charge. The staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive. The restaurant at Inn at the Tides Wharfside (they also have a Bayview Restaurant attached to the hotel registration area on the land side of Highway One) had some of the best Bay views I have ever seen with half wall glass windows that enable you to see seals, birds, and magnificent water/sky views. The best part of a Bodega Bay stay is the magnificent beach access. Either Doran State Park or Salmon Creek State Park provide some of the finest beach walks in Northern California.
